Wellington
"It is impressive to see that the specifications of this product were laid out in the early days of the Internet. We believe that this early vision has materialized in a product offering that has a sustainable differentiating advantage over other companies in the same space such as Webmethods, Tibco and Netfish, and feel that the team will be able to further expand that competitive edge," said Bart Markus, Partner, Wellington Partners.
Wellington Partners is a Munich-based early-stage venture capital fund, focusing on investments in technology companies. Wellington does about half of its investments in Germany, and helps its international portfolio companies to unlock the German market potential. The focus on early-stage technology companies with some 50 investments to date gives Wellington a unique edge in the German VC market.
